Jean-Claude Carrière is delivering a keynote speech at the 4th Screenwriting Research Conference in Brussels. Tonight 2011-09-07 at the Brussels Cinematek, he will introduce "La voice lactée" (1969); I'm sure he will mention studying heresies with Luis Buñuel in a hotel in Cazorla, and he might even allude to his book "Le réveil de Buñuel" (Odile Jacob 2011-04, ISBN 9782738126252) too … Tomorrow 2011-09-08, Mr Carrière will discuss screenwriting with Patrick Duynslaegher, Rik D'hiet and Laurent Denis at the Rits (EHB). I'm hoping to learn more about how he's helped Michael Haneke turn "Das weiße Band - eine deutsche Kindergeschichte" (2009) into the masterpiece it is.
