carol batton's poetry
Carol Batton has been described as the poet laureate of the mental health survivors' movement. In any case, she's official poet of the UK's Socialist Health Association. Myself, I've discovered la Batton via the intro of Andy Votel's "Folk Is Not A Four Letter Word" v/a cd (Delay 68, 2005), an excerpt of her poem "Bee-ing". "Winter" is off "Folk Is Not A Four Letter Word 2" (Delay 68, 2006).
